This excellent book, compiled and edited by Linda Brooks, is published in celebration of the Centenary of the Scottish Homing Union, the organisation formed in 1907 tp fulfil the role of governing body for the sport in Scotland. It is a compilation of photographs, facts and anecdotes from fanciers in Scotland and further afield that illustrates their absorbption with racing pigeons from the earliest days of competition right up to the present.
It is full of the rich character of the Scottish fancier who tempers the serious dedication with which he approaches his chosen pastime with a wry sense of humour that threads through these pages.
